Throughout the house there is an alarm system and fire alarm with independent sensors connected to the local security company’s head office. This system could also be connected to the 24-hour community security system found in the neighbourhood. For additional security, the estate includes an entry-phone, cameras and monitors.
All windows and external doors have wrought-iron bars in typical Andalusian style and all internal doors are double doors with good secure locks. Water and electricity are obtained from the municipality, as well as two tanks and a well for private irrigation purposes. Power cuts are not a problem thanks to a diesel oil generator, and for garden waste there are three rubbish burners made of stone. Drainage to a private septic tank, lightening conductor, grit (salt) machines, tools and motors complete the installations together with a water purifying system for the house.
